Future City Competition

Even though ENMS didn't make it to the final round at the Future City competition, they still worked super hard and I am extremely proud of all of the students.  We did win a special award for the "Best Energy-Based Project" - which is a great award!

Snow, Snow, Go Away!

Students are doing everything they can to wish away the snow on Saturday!!!

 

Pennsylvania American Water Visit

Representatives from Pennsylvania American Water stopped by the 7^th grade Discovery classroom Tuesday morning to speak to students about how the Norristown water treatment plant provides clean water to the area.  The visit helped to educate students about water treatment, which is part of what students must show in their Future City project.

Landfill Tour Field Trip

Students soaked up lots of great information on the field trip to the Pioneer Crossing Landfill.  I heard many of them discussing ideas for the Future City.  I'm excited to see what they come up with!  Here are some photos:
