Greensgrow Farm Field Trip

The 7th graders had a wonderful time on the field trip to Greensgrow Farm on Tuesday.  They were given a lot of ideas as to how to design their urban farm on their own model city for the Future City competition!

Virtual City Building

Students have started working on the virtual city portion of the Future City seminar.  They are following a rubric (created by the Future City competition judges) and are working hard as mayors to try to build a desirable city where residents want to live while doing things like keeping down crime, managing pollution, and balanacing a budget.  It certainly is a challenge, but students seem to be enjoying it!
